Thomas Gerhard Wolf, DMD, PhD (Dr. med. dent. habil.), MA is Professor at the University of Bern (Switzerland) in the Department of Restorative, Preventive and Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Wolf graduated in dentistry in 2011 at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz (Germany). He received his doctorate (Dr. med. dent.) in 2012 and habilitated (PhD) in 2017 in the field of operative dentistry/endodontology at the University of Mainz (Germany), where he is still active as a university lecturer in research and teaching. Since the beginning of 2018, he has been working at the University of Bern (Switzerland), teaching and researching mainly in the fields of preventive, restorative, and pediatric dentistry, endodontology, public health and oral epidemiology. He holds a Master of Arts degree in management of health and social institutions from the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU, Germany) and volunteers as President of the German Society for Dental Hypnosis (DGZH) and as Vice Federal Chairman of the Free Association of German Dentists (FVDZ). He represents the interests of dentists towards politics and the public in Germany and Europe and is responsible for international work and European policy. Dr. Wolf is a member of the delegation of the Federal Republic of Germany to the European Regional Organization ERO-FDI, the Council of European Dentists (CED) and the FDI World Dental Federation.
